Active, transformational, experiential. Adventure travel can mean lots of things to different people, but for us it's about experiencing new places and getting out of your comfort zone - exploring nature and culture, and discovering yourself.

Adventure comes with many different levels of activity. That's why all of our trips are customized to fit your travel style. At all levels of adventure we work with the well-established suppliers and local companies and guides that focus on sustainable travel, giving back to the planet and local communities, and of course active adventure.

Adventures

Blue Snorkel

Short hikes, snorkeling, guided day tours, city exploration, and giving back. Places like Hawai'i and Europe are great for your first experience with adventure travel - you'll find plenty of comforts and English-speaking people, but with the chance to get out and explore beyond what a regular tourist would see and do.

Shadow Bike

Biking, Full-day hikes and guided overnights, diving and snorkeling, sailing, cultural experiences and giving back. Destinations like Mexico and South Africa that offer a robust tourism industry, but are suited to those with an adventurous spirit. English is common in main tourist areas, but not as much as you explore.

Guided multi-day hikes, action sports, cultural immersion, and solo travel. Locations like Colombia and Egypt that burst with adventure and culture, but where organized tourism isn't always in place. You won't need to learn a new language, but picking up a few phrases will help you get the most out of your trip.

Hand-crafted, transformative trips to remote places around the planet; focused on changing the way you see the world...coming soon.

Why should I use a travel advisor?

I love answering this question because there are so many reasons! When I tell people what I do, the only question I get asked more often is "Do travel agents still exist?" We do, but our role has changed. The new generation of travel advisors are advocates for you, creating unique trips and working closely with local companies.

Your reason for using a travel agent could be one or many, but here are the most common:

  • Information fatigue - there is so much info online, on social media, in travel books, and from friends that it can be hard to know where to go or what to do. A good travel advisor will learn about you and your style of travel and find the places and activities that you'll remember for the rest of your life.

  • No time - we're all super busy these days, and you don't have time to plan activities and find the best places to eat.

  • You don't like planning - maybe you just don't like making the effort to plan your trip

  • Travel Support - imagine having someone to reach out to before, during, and after your trip to answer you questions, and in your corner to help with any issues you might have during your travel.

  • Value - travel agents mainly get paid from suppliers, so you're getting a great amount of value for little to no cost. I charge a small fee for some types of travel, and you can see my fees here
